Our new app, Sagachess, is almost ready for Android. Before we release it on Google Play, we need a few people to take it for a test drive.
That you have time to test it over the next few days.
This part of the testing phase is not extensive, and you don’t need any technical skills.
The most important thing is finding concrete bugs: anything that crashes, shows the wrong thing, or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. The first version doesn’t have a lot of features, so it shouldn’t take long – and we’re eager to get it out to everyone.
Our plan, now and going forward, is for the app to have what you need on the go (including offline, eventually!), while the desktop version is far more feature-rich and built for the kind of work that’s easier to do on a computer.
But please also tell us what works well, what’s hard to understand, and what you’d like to see.
Important: Use the email address linked to the Google account on your Android phone (usually a Gmail address). Otherwise you won’t be able to download the test version.
Help make Sagachess better – and get your wishes into the app sooner.
